Reporting directly to the CMO, as our first Creative Brand Manager you will be the day-to-day lead on strategy, brand management, and content creation, along with building, coaching, and leading a team of designers and copywriters and other creatives in the rapidly growing and evolving space of senior living and care. The ideal candidate has experience crafting and evolving a unique and consistent brand strategy, is deeply creative, and is able to envision the bigger picture with the work they do. You’ll be challenged to define, shape and evolve our brand, ultimately reinventing our brand as it stands today! A successful creative brand manager  will not stop at captivating our audience, but will also ensure we’re connecting our audience with the best products and services for our customers’ needs.

As a Creative Brand Manager at Caring, you will: 

  • Develop strategic solutions, inspiring plans and direction for prospects (ie: brand positioning, content strategies, art direction)
  • Conduct qualitative research and build solutions based on findings (ie: strategic positioning, target audiences)
  • Identify gaps within marketing/branding strategies and develops key touch points where brands and people should connect
  • Create SOWs, workflow schedules and budget proposals
  • Spearhead and maintain creative leadership and best practices including shaping brand and visual communication standards throughout the organization
  • Lead a rebranding effort of our marquee website & overall company brand, Caring.com
  • Collaborate with marketing counterparts to develop marketing plans, manage delivery of supporting creative, analyze campaign results, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Create / refine customer persona’s, review market trends, and the competitive landscape to keep up-to-date with and implement latest marketing creative strategies
  • Define and uphold how we measure creative performance, and lead a regular cadence of creative iteration
  • Lead with empathy and inclusivity, and actively nurture career development for all team members 
  • Collaborate with UX and Product teams to define and iterate application of visual design within tech products
  • Work cross-functionally with our business, creative, content, product, and channel marketing teams to create visually stunning products and messages, as well as effective communication plans
  • Build relationships with cross-functional partners and performance marketers to understand key business problems and bring a strong perspective on how creative can help solve those opportunities

 Our Ideal Creative Director Will Have:

  • 4+ years of experience as branding manager in house Creative Director or equivalent, including at least 2+ years of Creative leadership experience in-house
  • Expert knowledge of digital creative function and competencies including:, digital art direction, photography, video, brand copywriting & editing
  • Self starter with the passion and energy to work in a fast paced environment
  • Experience leading and developing a team of copywriters, designers and other creatives alike at all experience levels
  • A proven track record of creating brand-defining and business-driving work across channels, including direct response channels, TV, email, social, and large scale content websites
  • Ensures consistent execution of brand strategy and positioning for all company brands
  • Experienced giving direction to and managing creative agency relationships
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Figma, Canva, Miro, or simliar

Strong Plus:

  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, or Writing
  • Experience managing a decentralized, remote team
  • Experience and expertise as a principal art director for a client or brand team.
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C or 2-sided marketplaces
  • Experience managing a portfolio with multiple brands and decision-makers
  • Experience in creating creative briefs for internal and external use
  • Experience with Google Workspace & MS Office with an emphasis on Excel & PowerPoint
  • Comfortable with changing priorities
